Health Club to offer CPR AED Classes in Jensen Beach Florida

March 24, 2009 - PRLog -- The CPR School will be offering a CPR AED class at Body Logix Gym in Jensen Beach Florida on Saturday March 28, 2009. Rob Demski EMT, and Keith Murray EMT will be teaching the class and will share real life stories about CPR, AEDs and other medical emergencies.

All students will be trained how to perform CPR and the proper use of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs), disposable gloves and CPR masks / breathing barriers. Other topics include the Chain of Survival, warning signs of heart attack, cardiac arrest, stroke, choking, how to treat these medical emergencies and accessing Emergency Medical Services (EMS). Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a 2 year certification card.

Our classes bring a wide variety of students including boat captains, nurses, dental hygienists, personal trainers, high school students, construction workers, CNA's, security guards, risk and safety managers and a wide variety of people that want to learn how to save a life.

We will also discuss the various models of AEDs - Automated External Defibrillators. Anyone considering the purchase of an AED should attend this class to learn about the various models of AED available, the costs and how to maintain the AED.

Most of our classes are group classes taught at corporations, schools, restaurants, hotels, condos, churches and other large group settings, however we have a lot of individuals that wanted a quality, affordable CPR class and it was not offered by their employer.
