Follow on Google News | Local Businessman in Name Change HorrorWith the credit crunch in full swing, Aberdeenshire executive Ashley Young Gilmore has stunned his clients by changing his name by Deed Poll to ‘Ash Horror Ghoulmore’ in a plight to increase custom to his horror apparel business and stun critics.
By: The Legal Deed Service Mr Ghoulmore, who is getting married later this year, said, “At school I was always considered to be a bit ‘morbid’, but I turned a minus into a plus. I realised that changing my name was great for business around eight years ago when I started using the name unofficially, and clients would often ask if ‘Ash Horror Ghoulmore’ was my real name.” Since using his new name change, Ash has even encountered support from as far overseas as the USA. He found many American clients were ‘getting a kick out of it’, after he went abroad to increase his client base and attract a whole host of new suppliers. Changed earlier last week by online Deed Poll provider, The Legal Deed Service, the name change cost just £10 and became official on Thursday the 19th of March 2009. Chief Executive of The Legal Deed Service, Jamie Jackson said, “We are pleased to be able to help local business owners in their quest for more sales, especially during the credit crunch. Ash really practices what he preaches and his new name really does suit him down to the ground. “Despite the credit crunch, name changes are still on the increase, showing that there is still a huge demand for such a service, I think that business owners changing their names to suit their trade, is a great idea, after all, in such bleak economic times anything is worth a try!” Mr Ghoulmore, whose friends and parents feel his new name is rather apt, added, “I think other business owners should consider changing their name during the credit crunch if they feel it will be beneficial to them, it certainly helped me in business without a doubt.” About The Legal Deed Service The Legal Deed Service is registered as a Limited company in England and Wales under number 06560160*.
