           Located at http://blogfriendlypr.com, the site was launched this month by Nicole Ibarrondo, Colleen Stearns, Victoria Ayra and Jessica Fuqua, all who have worked on other blogs featuring reviews, giveaways and parenting tips. The site is free for listings by “blog friendly” companies and PR professionals seeking reviews for their clients, journalists and "PR OK" bloggers seeking products to review or learn about for editorial pieces.



           “With the economy in a tailspin, small companies and start-ups can’t afford to spend thousands of dollars on ad campaigns,” says owner Nicole Ibarrondo. “The blogosphere opens up tremendous opportunities for businesses to connect with consumers very inexpensively. Our site facilitates the connection among the players.”



           Ibarrondo says women bloggers who review products are especially important to companies because “women comprise the largest percentage of consumers, and women trust real-world opinions.”



           Businesses seeking reviews complete an online form offering their products or services for bloggers’ review. The type of products accepted for review run the gamut --categories such as maternity, children’s, fashion and beauty, family, technology, travel gear, food and beverage, eco-friendly, home and garden, movies and music, giveaway blogs and “everything else.”



           Another feature of Blog Friendly PR is “Hot Topics,” where companies can list new product launches or products with time limited offers, such as a company currently offering baby blankets made from bamboo fibers to the first 15 blogger-reviewers that contact the company.
