Follow on Google News | Tsiyon Messianic Radio Now Broadcasting In SalemStarting today, Tsiyon Messianic Radio will be broadcasting its one hour Messianic radio program, On the Road to Tsiyon with Eliyahu ben David and Dawn in Salem.
By: Tsiyon Radio What is a Messianic radio program and why is it on a Christian station? The program host, Eliyahu ben David, explains; "The term Messianic emphases the Messiah of Israel. Christians call Him Jesus Christ. Messianics call Him by His Hebrew name, Y'shua Messiah. Our Messianic message puts the focus on the real Messiah, a Jew from the Land of Israel. Historically, Christianity Hellenized "Jesus" which largely separated Him from His Jewishness, remaking Him in the Greco-Roman image of the Roman world in which Christianity took hold. Today, many Christians are becoming aware of these facts and are now returning to the Hebrew roots of the faith. Our program helps Christians to find their Hebrew Messiah once again." Tsiyon Messianic Radio is now in its fourth year of broadcasting and is presently heard in over 65 counties around the globe. Now Tsiyon radio will be included in the line up offered by a Salem, OR media group. The group consists of three medias: an a.m. radio station JC Talk a.m. 1220, KPJC which has a market area of about 500,000 people and an audience of about 15,000 to 20,000. The second part is a monthly Christian newspaper. 20,000 copies are distributed to about 500 churches and businesses in the Willamette Valley area. The third leg is the JC Talk virtual Christian community where streaming audio of the station can also be found. It has discussion groups, forums, news, etc. For additional information or to hear a sample Tsiyon Messianic Radio program visit www.tsiyon.org # # # Tsiyon Messianic Radio delivers fresh radio, ministry, teaching, and community for the remnant (12 tribes) of Israel and the Great Multitude who will join them.
