"As the first and only website that is pointing consumers to travel sites, lenders, credit card issuers, and insurance companies offering low rates, AND that helps people repair their credit and get out of debt, there is always a lot of information to share", says LowRateSearch.com founder Ken S. "My team and I have spent countless hours writing, researching, posting, and maintaing http://www.LowRateSearch.com, its 3 blogs, and multiple Ezine articles. The problem is, virtually nobody knows we exist.  My goal is for LowRateSearch.com to establish itself as a trusted resource to millions.  I cannot accomplish that goal unless I reach out to people to let them know we are here for them."

The solution? Twitter.com - a free social networking website that allows users to post up to 140 characters at a time, in real time, as many times as you want, all day long.  "I attended a webinar hosted by HubSpot.com featuring David Meerman Scott, author of 'World Wide Rave'.  In the webinar, I learned that in order for people to know you exist, you must tell them.  If you have a mission that is sincere, tell people what it is.  If they believe in your mission, in some way they will help you accomplish it.  So, on February 12, 2009 I joined Twitter, started telling the LowRateSearch.com story, and invited folks to follow me as I update the website, blogs, and articles."

Tweeters (as Twitter members are called) are definately taking notice of LowRateSearch's Twitter page. In just three weeks, LowRateSearch has earned a new follower just about every hour and a half.  With a continued effort, Ken plans to reach 500 followers by the "one month mark" on March 12, 2009.
