Innovation In Product Development Enhances Brand Value

March 4, 2009 - PRLog -- A new ‘weapon’ in the fight against MRSA and C.difficile infection control will be introduced at an event about product innovation this month, which will also talk about how brands can drive innovation.  The event has been organised by the Cambridgeshire (UK) branch of The Chartered Institute of Marketing.

In his presentation speaker Mike Cane - founding director of Cambridge Design Partnership - will be providing an insight into how the value of a brand can be made to become the powerhouse of product innovation.  Mike will explore past and present case studies, as well as introducing a new ‘weapon’ in the fight against MRSA and C.difficile infection control.  Cambridge Design Partnership has worked with organisations such as ICI Dulux and SatMap.

“Innovation in product development enhances brand value,” explains branch chair Terry Nicklin.  “However, we often miss the opportunity to identify how a well branded product can itself drive innovation, which leads to ever greater product sales volume.  We’re really looking forward to hearing Mike’s views and advice, and seeing some of his high profile projects.”
