Today, Attractel Ltd., a provider of VoIP technologies, solutions & services, released the new 2.19 versions of Zoiper IAX and SIP softphone for Windows. This is the first major Zoiper release for Windows for the year 2009.  It outstands with video as a key new feature, offered with the rebranding package of the Biz edition of Zoiper. For the first time, users of the popular IAX and SIP softphone will be able to truly visualize each other during video conversations. The video feature shall be available mainstream with the Zoiper Biz edition this spring.

The updated feature list of Zoiper 2.19 for Windows now includes: a 64-bit printer driver for Biz edition; and a smart audio device auto-detection enhancement. Also, Zoiper 2.19 for Windows offers improvements in the registration process (Biz edition); an added option for server-side auto answer; updated API (Biz edition); and some minor other additions and fixes, including improved rport support with SIP. As with previous releases, Zoiper Community feedback was essential to the quality of the popular SIP and IAX softphone. Zoiper 2.19 is available for both Free and Biz editions.

Zoiper is a multi-platform IAX and SIP softphone, compatible with Asterisk and any other SIP-based IP-PBX. It is available in Free and Biz editions. Most important features of the paid Biz version include: Sending / Receiving of T.38 Faxes; TCP/TLS support with SIP; Automatic provisioning (XML); URL handling; Outlook/Thunderbird Integration; Native conferencing; API; Attended transfer; Changeable number of lines, and more! Both Zoiper editions are also available for either Complete or Basic customization packages, OEM packages, including licenses, customization and SDK.
