Detroit’s premier jazz restaurant and supper club to continue offering daily lunch special

DETROIT – Jan. 29, 2009 – Seldom Blues, Detroit’s premier jazz restaurant and supper club, is pleased to continue offering its $10 “Blue Plate” lunch special weekdays from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Created and designed by Executive Concept Chef Jerry Nottage, the “Blue Plate” special changes daily.

“When we introduced this special last year, we had no idea it would become so popular,” said Frank Taylor, CEO of the Frank Taylor Restaurant Group. “We are very excited to keep it on the menu and continue offering our guests great food, service and entertainment.”

Seldom Blues is located in Tower 400 of the Renaissance Center, home of General Motors World headquarters. The restaurant is open Monday through Saturday for lunch as well as dinner and on Sundays for its weekly Sunday Gospel Brunch.

Seldom Blues, is metro Detroit’s only upscale jazz supper club.  The restaurant is located in Tower 400, Level 1 of the GM Renaissance Center next to the Marriott.  Restaurateur Frank Taylor, former Detroit Lions Robert Porcher III, noted musician Alexander Zonjic, and executive concept chef Jerry Nottage have teamed up to combine the right ingredients into one venue – fine cuisine, excellent service and great music.
