I was born to American parents who practice Buddhism, and while I enjoyed growing up with Buddhist beliefs, some of which I still maintain, I never really wanted to engage the specific rituals associated with their style of Buddhism. My parents were (and still are) very open minded, loving people who gave me the best possible start in consciousness that I could have ever asked for.
In second grade I realized I was from another reality, simply dreaming a dream in this world that I would one day wake up from. Shortly afterward I had my first lucid dream of being back home in a world of indescribable beauty, a world where everyone and everything emanated pure, gentle divine light. The knowledge that this amazing higher dimensional existence was my true home sustained me through all of the difficult challenges throughout my life.
As an only child in a city environment that I found somewhat boring, I went inward and experimented with intuitive forms of meditation and Yoga. I quickly learned that my consciousness was much more than my childhood identity or body.
I was always curious about reality beyond the physical world, asking questions like, “What are other dimensions like? What happens in between death and when you reincarnate?” Nobody had any satisfactory answers for my questions at the time.
The curiosity faded as I entered high school, playing out various teenage dramas of unconscious behavior. The teenage years ended with several self-created adversities that propelled me back into contemplation about the deeper aspects of life.
At 20 I re-realized that “Life is all about Love” and set about finding a way to fully live that realization without much success at first. I read several books from "The Seth Material" that expanded many of my horizons, culminating with my first exposure to the concept that we create our own reality in "The Nature of Personal Reality."

Bio-Energetic Body worker, a Conscious Channel, a Visionary Writer, and Teacher of New Paradigm Metaphysics.
He's been on a Spirit Path since the 1960s, a journey that has led him through Catholicism, Protestant Fundamentalism, 12-Step Groups, various studies of Philosophy, Psychology, and many facets of Alternative Health Care.  In 1986, Daniel began serious studies in Metaphysics and Channeling, which led to his intersection with The Reconnections in 1991.
In 1984, he became a Licensed Massage Practitioner, and has worked in Physical Rehab and Personal Transition Consultation for 24 years, finding the work to be grounding and nurturing for his writings and work as a Spiritual Channel.
He is the father of two sons:  Jeffrey, 35, and Joe, 31.  All live in the Greater Seattle Area.  Daniel and friends love to travel--and have been many places in the world---either touring or presenting workshops and classes.  Being half-Irish and half-English, it's easy to see why the British Isles are among his favorite hangouts.  Reconnections Inc. has produced yearly Conclaves since 2002, beginning with the Highlands of Scotland, and moving on through to Glastonbury and throughout Southern England.  In North America, Reconnections Teaching has been presented in California, Oregon, Nevada, Washington, Canada, and New York.  The latest Conclave, held in October 2006, was in Sedona, Arizona.
