Cisco NOW Vans will be back on the road in January equipped to demonstrate EXTENSION®

Jan. 2, 2009 - PRLog -- Fort Wayne, IN  –The Cisco NOW (Network on Wheels) Vans will set out for the 2009 year equipped with triPRACTIX’s unique healthcare systems application, EXTENSION®. These vans will travel throughout the United States, stopping at Cisco partner-hosted events where attendees can get demonstrations of products featured in the van.

The Cisco NOW van is a 25-foot mobile demonstration van outfitted with the latest Cisco networking technologies. These vans have been enhanced and refitted to create a mobile solutions showcase for the use of Cisco partners and customers. They contain the equipment and facilities to conduct onsite technical demos of key networking solutions for the commercial market, including: Security Solutions, IP Communications Solutions, Mobility Solutions, Network Foundation Solutions and Management Solutions.

EXTENSION® is the only healthcare specific application being featured in the NOW vans. What makes EXTENSION® unique is its ability to turn Cisco Unified Communications (VoIP) into a clinical workflow  tool automation notification using text messages, phone calls, and email, as well as turning their award-winning IP Phones into user interfaces for clinical, administrative, and revenue cycle data.
