Holiday Family Fun Day Hosted By Miles Technologies To Raise Funds For A Step Toward Hope

Dec. 17, 2008 - PRLog -- Miles Technologies will host a Holiday Family Fun Day on Saturday, December 20th from 10am until 3pm.  All proceeds from the event will go to A Step Toward Hope, a 501-C3 charity that provides assistance to those suffering with paralysis and other neurological disorders in the Delaware Valley.

The event will be held at Miles Technologies’ corporate headquarters, located at 300 West Route 38 in Moorestown, New Jersey, at the corner of Pleasant Valley Avenue.  Open to the public, the indoor/outdoor event will include train rides, pony rides, photos with Santa, a moon bounce, holiday crafts, music, and food.  Family Fun Day will also feature a 50/50 raffle and a live auction for items like a 50” Plasma television, a desktop computer, a two week Florida vacation, and more.  Tickets for the event are $10 per person.  Children under two will be admitted free of charge.  

A portion of the proceeds from the event will help cover expenses for Guy Greco, who fell from a 28 foot ladder on October 30th of this year.  The accident left Greco paralyzed and in need of a $30,000 home renovation in order to accommodate his needs.

“Never in a million years would I have ever guessed we would be in this situation,” reports Greco’s wife, Sue.  “It has been difficult to accept but we know in our hearts of hearts that we cannot possibly go it alone. If we are going to get Guy what he needs and try to provide for our children we have to be accepting of others’ generosity.  We are really honored to have (the Step Toward Hope) foundation help us through this difficult time in our lives.”
