For the Palm Beach County School District, Moss & Associates completed a $26 million construction project that modernized Forest Park Elementary School, a Boynton Beach landmark built in 1956. The project built 84,745 square feet of new space in classrooms, cafeteria, playfields, parking, and a parent drop-off and pick-up area. A computer laboratory with state-of-the- Forest Park Principal Sharon Brannon said, “We worked with the Moss team to transform Forest Park into a 21st century elementary school – from high-technology classrooms and efficient, sustainable lighting, cooling and plumbing systems, to the new science lab, art patio and outdoor learning space with butterfly-attracting plants.” Moss & Associates recently received a 2008 Palm Beach County School District Partner Award for its pivotal role in managing the improvements to Forest Park Elementary – one of only three firms that received the Partner Award this year.
