John W. Owens Jr. has been named an honored member in business by Princeton Premier.

Owens Jr., CFE, is the general manager of the Nevada State Fair, an annual event that provides entertainment and education for tourists and residents of Nevada.  John has been in this capacity since 2008 and is responsible for overseeing all of the pre-fair operations, such as fundraising and sponsor recruitment, purchasing and inventory, entertainment, vendor selection, and promotions. John has extensive marketing experience and is well known for his expertise in event coordination, promotion, advertising, marketing and public speaking.  He is the author of Opening Night; Creating Successful Events and is an esteemed member of the Western Fair Association and the International Association of Fairs and Expos.  John is equally active within the community and supports several organizations that benefit the arts.  John lives in Reno and enjoys his spare time traveling, playing the saxophone and writing.
