PRLog -- Dr. Boudewijn van Lent is the vice president of technical rubber products for Lanxess Corporation, Germany’s largest producer of plastics, rubber, specialty chemicals and intermediates. Dr. van Lent joined Lanxess in 2004 to oversee and direct all of the organization’
s American, Canadian and Mexican operations. He is a foremost authority on the introduction of new technologies in the rubber and chemical products sector and has over two decades of experience in research and development. Dr. van Lent graduated from Wageningen Universiteit of the Netherlands with a PhD in chemistry. He is an esteemed member of the Association of Chemistry & Rubber and an invited guest speaker for both internal and industry conferences. Dr. van Lent is well known and highly regarded for his exemplary record of achievement within the industry and has authored dozens of articles and journals on his research. He has presented at several academic symposiums and been the subject of numerous media publications, where his expertise is relied on for both comparative and editorial review. Dr. van Lent is equally active within the community and maintains a dynamic philanthropic profile within the scientific arena. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, travel and playing tennis.
