PRLog -- Peter G. DeLynn is the senior vice president of production and operations for WTCI-TV, a provider of quality programming that is dedicated to the 35 counties of the Tennessee Valley. Peter has been in this capacity since 2006 and is depended on to oversee all of the station’s day to day operations. He has more than 15 years of experience in the television industry and is well known for his exemplary record of successfully completed projects. Prior to joining WTCI-TV, Peter served as a producer for WEDU, Florida‘s most watched PBS station, where he was responsible for such features as, A Gulf Coast Journal with Jack Perkins, and an Emmy Award winning series about the people and places of Florida‘s Gulf Coast. Prior to his position with WEDU, Peter spent eight years in local news production for the ABC affiliate, WWSB-TV. He was also responsible for all of the stations special programming, including, 9/11: The Suncoast Remembers and Season of Danger, an up-close look at the lives of those who fight wildfires in the state of Florida. Peter became interested in the broadcasting industry while studying at Elizabeth Seton College. His passion for working with people, perseverance and dedication has allowed him to maintain upward mobility and consistent growth in the field and Peter is highly regarded for his proficiency and professionalism. He is equally dynamic within the community and maintains an active philanthropic profile, supporting First Things First and other organizations that benefit education. Away from the station, Peter enjoys traveling, boating, and attending sporting events.
