In a safe and supportive environment our students excel academically and learn to think independently and creatively. With an enrollment of nearly 300 in grades six to 12, Devon Prep is one of the smallest, all male, private schools on Philadelphia's Main Line.  In a single-sex environment our students benefit from the focus on academic achievement and leadership made possible by fewer peer and social distractions. Yet, through many social and co-curricular activities they also enjoy interaction with young women from other schools.  

Our Middle School (grades six to eight) offers a safe and nurturing environment where students can explore ideas, tackle challenging academics and learn to think critically.  They have the opportunity to participate on several athletic teams or in any number of clubs and organizations.  Throughout their middle school years our students develop a positive self image, strong friendships and the skills for future academic success.

With a dedicated and qualified faculty Devon Prep’s Upper School offers a challenging college preparatory curriculum in the sciences and the humanities that encourages creativity and curiosity as well as academic excellence. A complete program of competitive athletic and extra-curricular activities, including theater and music as well as a Christian Action Program, provides each Upper School student with a well rounded experience.

In addition Devon Prep’s extensive three to five day field trips combine educational experiences with invaluable lessons in group dynamics. These trips take Middle School and Upper School students to several states, including: Florida, Massachusetts, Virginia, Connecticut and New York.
