The latest WORLDbytes programme flies the flag for critical views

WORLDbytes the online magazine programme created by the feisty WORLDwrite crew launches its latest show on Friday 14th November.

Nov. 13, 2008 - PRLog -- This month’s programme promises to provide contentious views on headline news. The line up includes: a panel of experts from the US and UK hotly debating the US elections and Obamamania; our aliens Zlog and Asbo try their hand at ethical shopping with some hilarious results; a stirring slot on youth engagement in politics versus the flaccid UK idea of citizenship classes; an eye opening debate on whether China and India can catch up with the West and a London doctor arguing that the ‘5-a-day’ health brigade are propagandists and wrong. Also this month, on the ‘Chill out Desk’ our scientist bursts the bubble on water worries, just in time for the release of WORLDwrite’s documentary Flush it and a shocking exclusive on spoon crime suggests Katy Perry is not the only one concerned with cutlery.

Viv Regan, WORLDwrite’s Co-Director says: “The feedback and comments we are getting about WORLDbytes are phenomenal. Lots of people are fed up with a one-sided version of the news that lazily leans on the prevailing wisdoms of our time. At WORLDbytes, our iconoclastic young crew are determined to shoot and tell a different tale. This month’s hot debates feature experts from across the globe thanks to the impressive line up which featured at the Battle of Ideas Festival.”
