PRLog -- Lauren Mullis is the executive director of The Arc of Mecklenburg County, a well established network that connects people who have developmental disabilities, to community resources. Lauren joined the AMC in 2005 to oversee all of the organization’
s operations. This includes staff support, management and development, implementation of programs, finance, and volunteer project coordination. Lauren is an expert on strategic planning, is an esteemed member of the Business Leaders of Charlotte and was named North Carolina’s Executive Director of the Year. She attended Appalachian State University, where she attained a Bachelor of Science degree in sociology, with a concentration in family development. Lauren is equally dedicated to enhancing the lives of people with developmental disabilities on a personal level. She is active within the community and supports the Kiwanis Club as well as other organizations that benefit healthcare. In her spare time, Lauren enjoys playing golf, watching hockey and studying politics.
In recognition of an exceptional career as executive director of The Arc of Mecklenburg County, Lauren Mullis is being included in the 2008/2009 Princeton Premier Registry alongside the most prominent business leaders and professionals of every industry, from around the globe.
