Oct. 28, 2008 - PRLog -- Milan Uskokovich, Ph.D., is the vice president of medicinal chemistry at Hoffmann-La Roche (BioXell, Inc.), a research-focused healthcare company that discovers, develops and provides innovative diagnostic and therapeutic products and services that deliver significant benefits to both patients and healthcare professionals.  Dr. Uskokovich has been in this capacity since 2000 and with Hoffmann- La Roche for 48 years.  He is depended on to supervise the chemistry department and clinical research and to oversee all of the division’s administrative operations.  Dr. Uskokovic is an expert in the field of pharmaceuticals and holds a Ph.D in fertility from Clark University, University of Massachusetts Medical School, and a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and biology from Belgrade University in Yugoslavia. He is well known and widely admired for his exemplary leadership and professionalism and credits his success to his passion and proclivity for science.  Dr. Uskokovic is equally dynamic in the community on a personal level and supports several philanthropic societies that benefit medical research.  At home in Montclair, New Jersey, he enjoys gymnastics, fine dining, reading and spending time with family.
