Cathy Hamernik is an elementary school teacher and writer.  She, with the help of her children and husband, has written four books based on creative learning through nature.  Ms. Hamernik is currently working on her sixth book and plans to continue writing literature that enhances original concepts, creative learning and life skills.   She lives with her husband of 19 years and her three daughters in Jamesville, New York
