PRLog -- Vanessa F. Harriman is a music specialist and choir director at the Roy L. Waldron School, Rutherford County School District, Tennessee. She has been in this capacity since 1999 and is depended on to share her expertise in music education with students of all learning capabilities. Vanessa meets with special education students to provide assistance with reading and conducts choir practice three times a week. She is well known and widely admired by both students and faculty for her proficiency, professionalism and enthusiasm and aspires to continued service in her present role. Vanessa credits her success to her passion for working with music and people and to her dedication to providing a quality education in the fine arts. She holds a master’s degree in education from Middle Tennessee State University and is pursuing a Ph.D. from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville. Vanessa assumes an equally dynamic philanthropic profile in the community and supports several projects that benefit programs dedicated to musical instruction. Off campus, Vanessa enjoys being part of children’s and music ministries, spending time with family, travel and reading.
