PRLog -- Kirsty Leighton is the vice president and global head of development for Waggener Edstrom Worldwide, one of the largest public relations firms in the world. Kristy joined the Waggener Edstrom team in December 2005, bringing over a decade of experience in marketing and communications. In this role, she is depended on to oversee client development and servicing and to stimulate new business growth within the U.K. market. In that pursuit, Kirsty provides top-level consultancy and program architecture for both small companies and high profile corporations like 3Com, Microsoft, Ericsson and Hitachi. Prior to joining Waggener Edstrom, Kirsty held several senior level positions within companies such as Orange, Edelman Public Relations Worldwide and The Weber Group, where she strengthened her skills in business-to-
business media relations and pan-regional campaigning and was well known for her exemplary record of successfully completed projects. Kirsty is equally well regarded for her personal accomplishments and academic achievement. She graduated from Thames Valley University in London with an honors degree in modern European studies and holds a CIM certificate in marketing communications. Kirsty is active within the London community and supports several charities that benefit underprivileged children. Away from the Waggener Edstrom offices, she enjoys spending time with her two sons, reading and travel.
