Dr. Brain C. Goodwin has been named an honored member in education by Princeton Premier.

Oct. 10, 2008 - PRLog -- Dr. Brain C. Goodwin is an accomplished biologist, mathematician, professor and scholar in residence at Schumacher College, a unique international educational institution that specializes in programs related to environmental and social sustainability.  Dr. Goodwin joined Schumacher College in 1996 as a professor of biology and has since assumed a variety of roles and responsibilities within the institution.  He is credited with developing the first graduate biology program in holistic science and is the author of How the Leopard Changed its Spots, Temporal Organization in Cells and Analytical Physiology,  Signs if Life: How Complexity Pervades Biology and Form and Transformation: Generative and Relational Principle in Biology.  Dr. Goodwin is an esteemed member of the board of directors of the Sante Fe Institute and the Royal Society of Art.  He holds a Ph.D. in theoretical biology from the University of Edinburgh and is on the board of the Scientific Medical Network.  Dr. Goodwin also assumes an active profile within the community and supports Oxfan and several other charities that benefit research and education.  Off campus, he enjoys walking, cycling and spending time with family.
