PRLog -- Dr. Michael C. Illuzzi is the director of Somerset County Technology Institute, a public institution that provides post-secondary education in the areas of computer technology, allied health, office administration, cosmetology, commercial art and multimedia. Dr. Illuzzi joined SCTI in 2006, bringing more than two decades of experience in higher education, organizational leadership and facilities administration. In his present role, Dr. Illuzzi is responsible for overseeing all of the university’s operations. This includes such diverse tasks as the supervision of more than seven hundred students, student services and faculty, curriculum development, budget and public relations. Dr. Illuzzi is an expert in the field of adult education and career and technical training. He holds a Ph.D. in education from Vanderbilt University and is an esteemed member of Phi Beta Kappa, the ASHE and Rutgers Alumni Association. He is equally active within the community and supports several organizations that benefit a variety causes such as the United Way of Somerset Valley and the Rotary Club of Branchburg, New Jersey. Off campus, Dr. Illuzzi enjoys reading, bowling, Rutgers football, walking and the theatrical arts.
