Science North IMAX® Theatre Set to "Shine a Light" On The Rolling Stones
2008 concert documentary about the Rolling Stones "Shine a Light" opens September 27, 2008 at theScience North IMAX® Theatre.
Academy Award®-winning filmmaker, Martin Scorsese, and the world’s greatest rock n’ roll band, the Rolling Stones, unite in the 2008 concert documentary Shine a Light.
Scorsese assembled a legendary team of cinematographers to capture the raw energy of the legendary band in the fall of 2006, during two performances filmed on October 29th and November 1st. In addition to concert footage, this extraordinary musical film event includes behind-the-scenes takes with the Rolling Stones during preparations for the show, as well as historical news clips and archive footage.
Shine A Light will show the world the Rolling Stones as they've never been seen before!
