PRLog -- Dr. Jiulin Wang, B.M., M.Sc., TCMD, R.Ac, is an esteemed professor at Grant MacEwan College. He joined the faculty of the university’s acupuncture department in 2001 and is depended on to instruct undergraduate students on acupuncture and Chinese herbology. Dr. Wang advocates integration between TCM and conventional medicine and has extensive research experience in both. He has published thirty professional papers and books and is an active member of the Acupuncture-
TCM Society of Alberta (ASA). Dr. Wang also practices Chinese herbology and acupuncture at affiliated hospitals such as the Jiangsu Provincial TCM Hospital and Nanjing Brain Hospital. In 2000, he joined the faculty of the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine, Portland, USA and the International College of TCM in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Dr. Wang graduated from Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in 1985 with a bachelor’s degree in medicine. He continued his studies at Nanjing University, earning a master’s degree in herbology and acupuncture. He served two terms of postdoctoral fellow training in Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge and Oregon Health Science University, Portland. Dr. Wang enjoys his spare time by fishing, playing ping pong and badminton.
