Sept. 3, 2008 - PRLog -- Gary Gorence's debut CD, Desert Trippin', which was released in July, will be the focus for the September 26, 2008 KBAC Radio Free Santa Fe show House Band Fridays from 10 to 11 a.m.  Visit their website for more info: www.kbac.com.

Gorence, a Blues Farm Records indie artist, has been a one man show for some time, but not all the time. In his spare time he plays live with Santa Fe's “The Jakes”.

The label, Blues Farm Records, referred to as the little label that could, is a native of New Mexico. Based in Clovis, BFR specializes in a southwestern style of music that is mixed with elements of rock, country, blues and more. Other artists with the label are Sansietch and Mark Kelley.

Gary Gorence's debut CD has 12 songs, and some of the sweetest New Mexican slide guitar ever.  The album is infused with blues and southern rock moments, but it is strung together by something else, the undeniable open road and southwestern hot air. It is the raw, wandering force throughout the Album.

Gary Gorence, Southwestern Rock-n-Roll, is the artist's official website, http://garygorence.webs.com, and of course, there's the Blues Farm Records label website: http://bluesfarm.webs.com

All loaded with tidbits for fans, and devoted to music enthusiasts. You can sample the new songs, and they are available for individual download via Amazon.com and at these websites.

Gary Gorence fans will want to hear the artist sing and play Mirage, but the question is whether we'll get acoustic guitar only or some electric slide? Will Gary bring any backup or just show up solo?

The simple and poignant All The Right Reasons is another track that fans would like to hear but chances are Gary will play one or both of his hits, A Rebel With Good Intentions, or It's Been So Long. Rumor has it we may also get some tracks that are in the works for Gary's second album, which he's due to begin recording in October. Call in and request something!
