PRLog -- Datamatix announced the new date for the 2nd GCC Small and Medium Business Conference. The event, which is now to be held on October 29, 2008 in Dubai UAE, is a continuation of the 1st GCC Small and Medium Business Conference that was held at the end of April and will build on the groundwork laid down at that event, by highlighting the important role of various GCC organizations and government in the sustainable development of the regional SMB sector.
Speaking about the conference, Ali Al Kamali, Managing Director – Datamatix Group, said: “In the first GCC Small and Medium business conference, which we organized earlier this year, heads and representatives of international and regional SME support organizations, demonstrated the importance of SMBs to regional economic growth and development and discussed the emerging opportunities that globalization holds for those SMBs that are aware of emerging market trends and are equipped to tackle the challenges that they encounter. Now, building upon that foundation, we are organizing the second GCC Small and Medium Business Conference, to carry those discussions further to focus on the roles of different external organizations, including financial institutions, government departments, and chambers of commerce, in supporting the SME sector and helping regional SMBs to succeed, develop, and grow.”
Leaders of various business and government organizations, business owners, entrepreneurs, economists, and stakeholders from the GCC region are expected to attend the event, and speakers and panelists will include leaders and senior-level executives both from the government and private sectors.
