June 17, 2008 - PRLog -- LSI is pleased to announce that we have received our ATEX approval. This allows LSI wireless boom sensors to work in explosion proof, intrinsically safe areas for applications in Europe.  Our display is rated for safe cab applications.  

Approved sensor types include the following GS Series sensors: Load Cells, Angle Sensor, Wind Speed, Boom Angle, Anti-Two Block, Wireless Transmitters.

LSI has successfully marketed similar CSA approved products into offshore platform/rig applications in the US Gulf, Africa, the Persian Gulf, Egypt, India, Vietnam, China and Russia.
