May 2, 2008 - PRLog -- New Three-Spot Package Cleverly Highlights Web Sites Superior Job Listings

HAVERFORD, PA - Looking to communicate their superior job listings for the Washington, D.C. area, Washington Post.com, the online version of the nationally renowned newspaper, and ad agency Adworks (http://www.adworks.com) Washington, DC, turned to Phasmatrope Studios (http://www.phasmatrope.com) and director Michael Wilde to produce a new hilarious three spot campaign. The new campaign began airing this week regionally Washington, DC area.

"We knew the 'big hand' approach had great potential as a device that could work for us not only in a strategic way -- representing washingtonpost.com helping to find jobs fast -- but also in an extremely memorable way," said John McEown, Adworks' Associate Creative Director. "What could be more fun than a huge, giant hand crashing into a work environment holding a job seeker, who was basically clueless to what just happened?

Added McEown: "Michael had a director's vision that was exactly where the agency wanted to take the look, tone and feel. What sealed the deal in our minds was his treatment, and the super-smart production design team put together by Phasmatropes's executive producer Jon Isen."

In the inventive campaign, workers are seen discussing their employment needs when a giant hand (created by effects shop Kitchen Sink, Philadelphia, PA) suddenly bursts through the wall - literally hand delivering startled new employees to their jobs. Each spot ends with a voiceover "find the perfect job faster than you think on Washington Post.com - thousands more D.C. jobs than any other website."

"This was one of those jobs where everyone just had fun," added Isen. "Michael did an incredible job with his vision for the spots and the whole team was able to deliver on it."
