Getting "Away From it All" Photographer Encounters GOD

April 29, 2008 - PRLog -- Ho do you draw closer to GOD? How do you find meaning in life? Ever said you just want to “go away” to another place or country and get away from it all?

Yolondo Lupoe did just that.  Motivated by a promise from GOD to go to Italy to photograph and create a book, having to quit her job at hospital because of a debilitating car accident, in the midst of loosing her photography gallery, halting the pursuit of her Ph.D. in Psychology while at the end of her program, and trying to make sense of her life as her husband was trying to serve her with divorce papers, Yolondo knew that it was the perfect time to go!

Her intention was to go with a friend, but hours after Yolondo’s ticket was purchased she learned her friend couldn’t go. So Yolondo, believing that GOD wanted to be her only companion on the trip, mustered all that was in her and planned her trip that departed two weeks later.

Little did Yolondo know, traveling with GOD through Italy would be a life changing journey and an overwhelming experience of intimacy with GOD.  The results of the trip would rock her world and many who peruse the pages of her self discovery.  

She was confronted by GOD with “do you trust me?” Asking GOD, “GOD, do you see me?” “GOD, do you care?”  “How do I make meaning of my life?” ‘”What choice do I have?”  “How do I find out what I need to do?”

Traveling With GOD, the Lessons Along the Way: Italy, is a one of kind book.  Its unique 160 page expose of full color pictures and words exposes the soul hunger common to every person.  As Yolondo is thrust into the intersection of her life she experiences GOD, sees GOD is real, in the simple everyday of life, and the choices of life are truly pivotal events.
