Feb. 27, 2008 - PRLog -- Alan's School of Taekwondo and Self Defense held a belt promotion test on February 26, 2008 at the Casselberry Recreation Center, formerly known as the Casselberry Senior Center.  Alan Trueba, the black belt instructor, conducted the testing and was assisted by his black belt students.

Megan, a black belt from Master David Turnbull's school, DC Turnbull Taekwondo, assisted with the testing by special invitation. She added a special dimension to the testing with her powerful yet graceful poomse.

Several special awards were given to students. The testing was conducted in a warm, supportive atmosphere and the family members present clearly enjoyed themselves. By the end of the evening all of the boards were broken, the forms properly executed, and the students emerged from the Recreation Center proudly wearing their new belts.

Alan Trueba brings a solid background in combat arts to his Taekwondo School. He is an accomplished boxer, hockey coach and father and has the necessary experience to inspire young people to develop spiritually as well as physically. Mr. Trueba considers his Taekwondo class to be his ministry and focuses on developing the whole individual. As the son of a minister, it is no surprise to see the Christian cross embroidered on his black belt.

Prospective students may contact Mr. Trueba through the Casselberry Recreation Center by calling 407-696-5122. The center’s address is 200 North Triplet Drive, Casselberry, Fl.32707.
