PhotographyCorner.com Announces the February 2008 Photograph of the Month

Feb. 5, 2008 - PRLog -- Photography Corner ( http:/www.PhotographyCorner.com ) has announced that Leith Noble is the winner of the February 2008 Photograph of the Month contest.  The winning photo was chosen by site members from a total of eleven nominated photographs with just over 14% of the votes – the closest Photograph of the Month vote since PhotographyCorner began the contests almost 4 years ago.

Leith Noble won the latest photograph of the month contest with a photo titled “Wife.”  The winning photo depicted a wide-angle shot of several tall buildings, taken with a Sigma 10-20mm lens.  This was the second Photograph of the Month award received by Leith, who also won the June 2007 Photograph of the Month.  For winning the PhotographyCorner.com February 2008 Photograph of the Month, Leith Noble was awarded a $100 Gift Certificate for any prints/posters from http://www.FunWithPics.com.

“This was, by far, the closest Photograph of the Month vote we’ve ever had,” commented the owner and administrator of PhotographyCorner, Tim L. Walker, “with 5 other photographs within 4 votes of Leith’s winning photograph.  The wide-angle 10-20mm lens can create some stunning photographs, including the one that one our most recent 2007 Photograph of the Year contest.  This winning photograph, which is included in a series posted by Leith in the forums, showcased some of his first photographs with this lens.”

Photograph of the Month contests at www.PhotographyCorner.com are held in the community’s forum, where site members are able to post their photos for consideration.  Each month, photographs are nominated by community leaders and are voted on by the Photography Corner community.
