Whats Local Magazine to grow local editorial content as MT Media launches more issues of the Mag

MT Media Limited, the fast growing publisher and telecoms reseller based in Chelmsford, have announced plans to grow the amount of value of ‘local content’ in each edition, as Whats Local Magazine grows and launches new issues across the South East.

Speaking about the announcement, Daniel Corby, Managing Director said “local content is key to the free magazine Market and we’re really keen to grow the content, which will include local contact information, cinema listings, classified listings and other relevant content for local advertisers and local readers”

MT Media was formed in July 2007, and is headed up by Daniel Corby and Hugh Craen. Daniel Corby has previously held senior roles, was Retail Director of The Tanning Shop between 1998 and 2002, Sales Director at phones4u from 2002 to 2005 and was Managing Director of IMT Group Holdings plc from 2005 to 2007. Hugh Craen has worked in the financial sector for around 25 years, including high profile roles in Invoice Finance and Factoring, culminating in founding and floating Potential Finance Group plc on AIM in 2000.

MT Media has two operating divisions, Whats Local Magazine and numbers4life. Numbers4life is a telecom reseller, connecting 0800, 0808 and 0845 numbers for businesses across the UK.

Whats Local Magazine now has 12 issues across 26 London Boroughs and is now launching the concept into Sussex, with a combined issue covering Brighton and Hove from February 2008, at the same time, that Whats Local breaks the 500,000 copies barrier. MT Media is based in Chelmsford, where the business has just taken an additional lease on 1,980 square feet on a 10 year lease, bringing total office space to 4,000 square feet. MT Media is also preparing to launch a direct telecom reseller under the brand of Telephone Number Warehouse from March 08. Telephone Number Warehouse will sell directly to the business community from March 08 via sponsorship on Google and advertising within What’s Local Magazine.
