Dec. 13, 2007 - PRLog -- Isakson Barnhart, developers of Peachtree Hills Place, donated 100 toys last week in honor of its future homeowners to mark the 100 homes sold milestone. The toys, which were donated to Toys for Tots, http://www.toysfortots.org/, Atlanta, were presented during the community’s holiday luncheon with the 100 new homeowners, or members, in attendance.

Peachtree Hills Place, http://www.peachtreehillsplace.com, is Isakson Barnhart’s newest residential community offering a continuum of care for those ages 55 and over. The 100 mark means the developer is more than the half-way to groundbreaking on the community, which will eventually include 274 independent residences, 36 skilled nursing and memory care suites, and luxurious amenities for members. The construction-themed toys, including bulldozers, dump trucks, wrecking rigs and front loaders, celebrate the start of demolition this fall and expected start of construction late Summer 2008.

“Anytime you have 100 of anything in one place, that’s a lot,” said Julie Isakson Mitchell, Director of Community Relations, “so we thought bringing in 100 construction-themed toys would be a strong representation of our 100 new members and symbolize the upcoming construction. Most importantly, the gifts will make the holidays brighter for children in Atlanta.”

“The 100 mark is indicative of the positive response we have received from the community regarding Peachtree Hills Place and puts us well on our way toward a groundbreaking,” continued Mitchell. “Our staff and members are very excited about their futures at Peachtree Hills Place.”

With the sale of 100 of the single-family homes and villas in Peachtree Hills Place, Isakson Barnhart is preparing for groundbreaking for homes and amenities at the community’s 23.3 acre site in Buckhead. Crews have begun demolishing the existing structures, while carefully preserving more than half of the existing mature trees on site. The first residents are anticipated to move in late 2009. A sales center, which includes two full-size model homes, is already open.

Peachtree Hills Place will eventually become home to those who seek to live a secure, independent lifestyle with on site access to continuum of care options.  When completed, Peachtree Hills Place will include 274 independent residences – consisting of 266 villas and eight single-family homes – and 36 skilled nursing and memory care suites.   Assisted living care will also be offered on site.  All Peachtree Hills Place members will enjoy a full slate of country-club style amenities, on-site retail establishments, dining, full service spa, and fitness center.

Isakson Barnhart is Georgia’s developer of nationally recognized, award-winning residential communities for those age 55 and over.  The company’s vision to provide amenity-rich, independent living for discerning adults was born out of the personal experiences of the family of Ed and Julia Isakson after their difficult search for a community that would provide an active lifestyle combined with on-site health care. This mission manifested itself in Park Springs, the company’s flagship property in Stone Mountain.  Park Springs was nationally recognized by the 50+ Housing Council of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) as the recipient of the 2005 Platinum Award for best large CCRC as well as the Gold Award for interior design. Now, Isakson Barnhart introduces another award-winning residential community in Peachtree Hills Place, named the best “On the Boards” large CCRC by the same group in 2006.  Isakson Barnhart has carefully selected Life Care Services, LLC, the leading management company of senior communities in the nation, to partner in the planning and management of Peachtree Hills Place and Park Springs.  For more information, visit http://www.peachtreehillsplace.com or call 404-467-4900.
