T-Mobile launches pay-per-day mobile broadband

Nov. 16, 2007 - PRLog -- Mobile Internet  Genie- http://mobile.broadbandgenie.co.uk – comments on the fact that mobile broadband provider T-Mobile has recently launched a pay-per-day mobile internet package, which was launched on the first of November.

Customers joining up to the pay-per-day broadband service would be liable for the cost of the portable USB modem which T-Mobile supplies for its mobile internet packages, and this has now been confirmed at a cost of £99.00. Though T-Mobile maintains that customers will be notified if they are using Web'n'Walk Plus Daily often enough to benefit from upgrading to a more substantial T-Mobile  package.

“Web'n'Walk Plus Daily” allows customers to use the internet as much as they like (within T-Mobile's fair usage policy) for just four pounds per day. It means that customers now have greater freedom than ever to gain a broadband connection on the go, and without a contract.

"Mobile broadband is an incredible new concept that frees consumers from only using the internet at your desk or in your house. The idea is that you can access the internet via your laptop wherever you go - trains, customers' office, friends' houses - really wherever. Skeptics will (with some justification) wonder whether mobile broadband connections will achieve anything like the speeds claimed by providers (for example, the 7.2Mb max claimed by Vodaphone).
