Juno Records releases exclusive remixes by Dimitri from Paris and Lindstrom

Nov. 7, 2007 - PRLog -- Juno Records (www.juno.co.uk) releases exclusive remixes by leading producers Dimitri from Paris and Lindstrom, as the latest installment of their 10th anniversary series. The tracks are remixes of two club classics by Imagination, the disco supergroup who had 11 chart hits in the 1980s.

Dimitri From Paris (winner of Mixmag Album of the Year for Sacrebleu and Grammy award nominee) takes Burnin’ Up and re invents it with 2 stunning remixes. The track became an instant underground club classic in 1981, especially in Chicago and New York, where it was a favourite of Larry Levan at the legendary Paradise Garage. This version is remixed using all of the original production, but with extra elements to bring it up date.

Hans Peter Lindstrom (remixer for Franz Ferdinand, LCD Soundsystem, Juan Maclean and 2007 winner of the Spellemansprisen – the Norwegian equivalent of the Grammy), remixes Just An Illusion . A top 10 chart hit in 1982, it has been a staple on radio stations and compilations ever since. Lindstrom has used only the original parts, yet the track still bears his own hallmark ‘space disco’ style.
