Jan. 8, 2007 - PRLog -- Oxford, England, (prlog.org), January 8, 2007 -- E-book publisher sci-fi-cafe.com goes live with a fresh new look ready for the new year. The website specialises in sci-fi, dark and the occasional horror e-books. One interesting new addition to the catalogue is the totally unofficial Harry Potter comedy parody, “Henry Potty and the Pet Rock” by Valerie Estelle Frankel.
Sci-Fi-Cafe has it’s dark side too. There are a handful of horror stories under the heading “Strong Dark Brews”. Tales from Brandon Collinsworth and long-standing horror writer Mike Philbin (aka Hertzan Chimera) lurk in the shadows.
The catalogue also includes compilations of “Micro Stories” - ultra-short snapshots of fiction that leave the brain reeling and wanting more. The editor Andy Severn has chosen to call these stories ”Espresso Shots” in keeping with the distinctive café theme that runs throughout the site.

The website distributes its material directly to the customer’s inbox by immediate email dispatch. It also distributes it’s catalogue through lulu.com where it’s first paperback title, “Henry Potty and the Pet Rock” is now available.

Sci-fi-cafe.com is currently accepting manuscripts from authors which can be submitted electronically through the website.
