Japanese Independent Artist Tucci Rain Turns Personal Memories into Music

YAWATA, Japan - Sept. 6, 2026 - PRLog -- A new independent music project from Japan is bringing personal memories and everyday experiences to listeners around the world through original songs created with AI-assisted music technology.

Tucci Rain, the artist name and music project of a Japanese independent creator, began in May 2026 with a simple idea: to transform memories, emotions, and life experiences into music. What started with a single song has grown into 23 original songs in just a few months.

The project explores themes including love, youth, family, loneliness, seasonal memories, everyday life, and the passage of time. Rather than focusing on a single genre, Tucci Rain allows each story to determine its sound, from nostalgic ballads to songs with different rhythms and moods.

The songs are written entirely in Japanese, preserving the language and atmosphere in which the stories were conceived. Tucci Rain's YouTube videos feature English subtitles, while selected songs also offer subtitles in Spanish, German, Traditional Chinese, and Korean.

AI plays an important role in the creative process, but Tucci Rain does not regard AI as the artist or the source of the stories. Instead, AI is used as a creative tool to explore musical possibilities based on personal memories, emotions, lyrics, and ideas.

The project is produced through the Sound Lab Division of Hibiki Design Works, combining music, lyrics, video, visual design, and storytelling. At the heart of Tucci Rain's work is a simple philosophy: a personal memory can become something universal. Stories about school days, summer evenings, first love, quiet walks home, or words left unsaid may remind listeners of their own lives, even when the story comes from another country or generation.

Tucci Rain's official YouTube channel features original music videos, lyrics, and multilingual subtitles.
