, this IP69K-compliant, fully sealed and fanless 2U edge AI platform has been developed without compromise to ensure reliable computing power even in environments where conventional GPU computers would fail. All models in the SEMIL-2200 series meet several MIL standards, including those relating to electromagnetic compatibility, reliable power stability in mobile applications, and resistance to shock, vibration and, in particular, ambient temperature.
Withstanding attacks is not just a military concern; attacks from the weather, dust, vibrations, power fluctuations and similar industrial stresses can also quickly and severely impair the control and data processing of machines, plant or vehicles. The only defence against this is robust, highly sealed computing platforms such as the models in Acceed's SEMIL-2200 series. Naturally, this must not come at the expense of actual computing performance.
The SEMIL-2200 is a compact controller with half-rack width and is equipped, as per the customer's requirements, with 12th, 13th or 14th generation Intel processors. In combination with Nvidia's L4 GPU, all models deliver consistently high data processing performance, as required for next-generation autonomous systems, ranging from unmanned vehicles to C4ISR networks. Other areas of application include performance-
intensive parallel computations, such as for AI inference, deep learning, object recognition or predictive maintenance directly at the point of operation. All of this is achieved without the need for the cloud and with virtually zero latency.
By eliminating mechanical fans and replacing them with a patented thermal design for cooling, the SEMIL series supports fanless operation across a wide temperature range from –40 °C to +70 °C.
The M12 connectors, which are accessible from the front panel for efficient configuration changes, are protected against the effects of weather, dust and vibration. Housed in a robust aluminium casing, the system is fully dust- and watertight to IP67K and, unlike standard IP67, offers additional resistance to high pressure and hot water. The shock- and vibration-resistant design also complies with MIL-STD-810H, making it ideal for vehicle applications or outdoor use, such as on construction sites, on trains, for drone control or even in military applications.
