Kona Skate Park Keeps Coach Despite DCF Abuse Probe & Baker Act

JACKSONVILLE, FL – Kona Skate Park continues to employ coach John Paul Seifert despite public records showing an open DCF child-sexual-abuse investigation, a suicide-by-traffic Baker Act, and driving minors on a suspended license.

Seifert remains on staff while DCF investigates #2024-242-536-01 for suspected sexual abuse of his intellectually disabled minor daughter., (REDACTED).

Seifert texted: "Take care of (REDACTED)… I just want to be dead."
He ran into traffic on La Ventura Dr. Officers tackled him and committed him to Mental Health Resource Center.

The victim, (REDACTED) tested positive for Hepatitis B & C (sexually transmitted) + thrush.
Nurse saw Seifert search "can semen cause thrush" on his phone while in custody.
