| Calabasas Resident and Attorney Barry P. Goldberg to Take Center Stage as Featured SoloistLocal attorney and longtime Calabasas resident Barry P. Goldberg to perform Rimsky-Korsakov's Trombone Concerto with the Los Angeles Lawyers Philharmonic in Santa Monica.
By: Goldberg Injury Lawyers In addition to Goldberg's solo performance, the program will feature beloved classics including Schubert's Unfinished Symphony, Mozart's Requiem, Bizet's Carmen Suite, and selections from The Sound of Music. A proud Calabasas resident for decades, Goldberg first made his mark as an accomplished trombonist, performing with the UCLA Jazz Ensemble and other prominent Southern California groups. After pausing his musical pursuits to focus on his thriving legal career and raise his family in the community he calls home, Goldberg recently rekindled his musical journey—returning to the stage after a 30-year hiatus. Today, Goldberg serves as Principal Trombone for the Los Angeles Lawyers Philharmonic and Lead Trombone for the Big Band of Barristers, both conducted by Gary Greene, Esq. These unique ensembles bring together lawyers and judges who share a love of music and perform throughout Southern California, including the Walt Disney Concert Hall. Despite decades of playing, this upcoming performance marks Goldberg's first time performing a concerto in front of a full orchestra. "I've dreamed of performing the Rimsky-Korsakov concerto since my college days," said Goldberg. "After the fires canceled my first opportunity years ago, this concert feels like a long-awaited dream fulfilled—and I'm thrilled to share it with my neighbors and friends from Calabasas." Beyond his musical endeavors, Goldberg is the founder of Goldberg Injury Lawyers, one of the fastest-growing personal injury firms in the San Fernando Valley. A respected leader in the legal community, he has been recognized as a Super Lawyer for 15 consecutive years and is a former President of the San Fernando Valley Bar Association. Tickets for the December 6 performance will be available soon on Eventbrite. https://www.eventbrite.com/ End
