'The Lonely Diners Club' Goes Into Pre-Production

LOS ANGELES - Sept. 16, 2025 - PRLog -- The feature film 'The Lonely Diners Club' has gone into pre-production as of September 2025. 'The Lonely Diners Club,' written by actress and novelist Keelia Clarkson, is a romantic comedy-drama indie about two people finding sparks after being stood up by their dates on the same night, in the same restaurant. The film is warm and inviting, but also touches on themes of purpose, finding love in the modern age, and is sure to have a cross-generational appeal for those who love classic stories with a new twist.

Clarkson is best known for her leading roles in indie films like 'Bright Sky' and cameo appearances on network TV shows like 'New Amsterdam' and 'The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.' Her debut novel, Chapter One Again, comes out in June 2026.

Casting for the film has wrapped up and while no names have officially been announced yet, production has stated that they have cast a brilliant mix of popular newcomers as well as beloved character actors in the small cast.

The film is set to be shot in Los Angeles in early 2026 and is being produced by Lighting Dark, LLC.
