At the SUONO SACRO ACADEMY launch pad in Assisi with the artistic direction of ANDREA CECCOMORI"Suono Sacro Academy" is based on the values and principles of the inspired and enlightened musician of Assisi Suono Sacro, dedicated to the ideals of peace, sacredness, and universal brotherhood."
By: Forte Communication This quote from Rostropovich sums up the mission of "Suono Sacro Academy," the Academy of Sacred Music in Assisi founded by Andrea Ceccomori (President of Assisi Suono Sacro), an internationally renowned flutist, at the suggestion of Lino Del Vecchio, a fashion consultant for Haute Couture since the 1980s and an executive manager for major event productions, who supports its promotion and institutional relations as well as managing the necessary public and private partnerships. "Suono Sacro Academy" is based on the values and principles of the inspired and enlightened musician of Assisi Suono Sacro, dedicated to the ideals of peace, sacredness, and universal brotherhood." The Academy's logistics involve the location of its various locations throughout the region, starting with the main classrooms in Assisi, one at the Orto degli Aghi, a needle factory built in 1822, and the other at the Assisium Center, a Roman archaeological site embedded in the historic topography of Assisi dating back to the 3rd century BC. These classrooms were made available by curator Giampiero Italiani. Beyond Assisi, other locations are underway in Cascia, Norcia, Gubbio, and Marsciano, as well as two foreign locations in the USA (San Francisco) and Shangai, which have hosted repeated tours and individual concerts by Andrea Ceccomori. In addition to Andrea Ceccomori, founder and Artistic Director, the Honorary President is Monsignor Marco Frisina, assisted by Renzo Cresti, Honorary Academician. A press conference is scheduled for September 16th at the Palazzo della Regione Umbria regarding the many activities planned by Assisi Suono Sacro, including the "School of Basic Music" in Cascia and Norcia, the "Pax Orchestra," debuting on October 12th during the "March for Peace," and the "Cortile di Francesco" (Courtyard of Francis), during which Andrea Ceccomori will perform the Canticle of the Creatures (with a repeat performance in San Francisco on October 4th) with a harp and string quartet, as well as special guest Kay Booyte Moore, an American soprano. The mission of "Suono Sacro Academy" will be presented, and its connection with "Assisi Suono Sacro" will clearly demonstrate the unique nature of the program. End
