Beware: Criminals Can Steal Your Home Through Fraud and Identity Theft

This is part of a growing national trend where forged deeds, fraudulent leases, and stolen utility accounts are used to hijack homes. Once criminals move in, owners must spend thousands of dollars in legal fees and eviction processes to regain control.
