S3 McMillan Commits Pro Bono Services to Ugandan Orphanage

BOONTON, N.J. - Aug. 7, 2025 - PRLog -- S3 McMillan, a woman-owned, full-service creative agency headquartered in Boonton, NJ and Ottawa, ON, has committed pro bono services to Bwindi Children Empowerment Charity (BCEC), a nonprofit organization based in Uganda that provides food, education, healthcare, and shelter to orphaned and vulnerable children in the Kanungu District. The agency will provide professional services across brand and demand strategy, messaging, and tactical execution.

The engagement follows a recent trip to Uganda by Denise Blasevick, CEO and Founding Partner of S3 McMillan, where she visited BCEC, met the founder, and spent time with the children. Blasevick witnessed the positive impact this orphanage is having on the community. She also recognized the pressing need for expanded support.

"I saw children who were not only cared for, but genuinely cared about – despite extremely limited resources," said Blasevick. "It was clear that if more people could see the work being done here, they would want to help. Our team at S3 McMillan is eager to help make that happen."

S3 McMillan will lead the development of a refined brand messaging platform and a complete redesign of BCEC's website to better communicate the organization's story, showcase its programming, and create a seamless path for global donations and child sponsorships. These tools are critical to raise the funds needed to continue caring for the children who rely on BCEC, as well as to help fund a permanent home for the orphanage.

"Bwindi Children Empowerment Charity began just a few years ago with seven children. Today, we provide care for nearly 90, so our need for support has grown substantially," said Akansasira Labour, Founder and Director. "I grew up in this village, raised by six different families after being abandoned as a child. I know the difference that access to proper care and education can make – and I believe that with S3 McMillan's assistance, more people will hear our story, understand our mission, and be inspired to support us."
