NAMTECH Advanced Automation Programs Address Rising Demand for Smart Manufacturing Skills

GANDHINAGAR, India - Aug. 1, 2025 - PRLog -- Gandhinagar, India – As industries rapidly embrace Industry 4.0 technologies, the demand for skilled professionals in smart manufacturing and advanced automation is accelerating across India and beyond. With the launch of its International Professional Master's Program (iPMP) and the International Professional Technologist Program (iPTP), NAMTECH is equipping both engineering graduates and diploma holders with the knowledge and hands-on expertise required to thrive in digital manufacturing environments.

The iPMP is a 12-month full-time residential program tailored for BE/B.Tech graduates. It blends academic excellence with immersive lab-based training in PLC programming, industrial IoT, robotics, digital twins, and AI-driven decision-making. In partnership with TUM Asia (Technical University of Munich Asia), the curriculum incorporates global best practices and includes international exposure opportunities for selected fellows.

The iPTP, designed for ITI and diploma holders, offers a 9-month industry-integrated learning path focused on job-ready technical competencies in automation, mechatronics, and instrumentation. Both programs align closely with employer needs and have already demonstrated successful placement outcomes across India's top manufacturing companies.

NAMTECH's commitment to skill development also includes 100 fully funded fellowships awarded to exceptional candidates from IITs, NITs, IIITs, and other premier institutes. These fellowships are aimed at building a strong national talent pool for high-growth sectors like semiconductors, robotics, and sustainability engineering.

Located at the Research Park of IIT Gandhinagar, NAMTECH provides students with access to Industry 4.0 labs, micro-factory simulations, and mentorship from global academic and industry leaders.
