THE ORIGIN: A SHADOW OPERATION DISGUISED AS JUSTICE

In 1970, under the disgraced leadership of President Richard Nixon and his U.S. Attorney General John Mitchell, the United States launched what may be the most insidious and far-reaching domestic scheme in modern history: a national genocidal incarceration framework—engineered to mimic real law but built entirely on fiction.

Thousands of men and women were convicted of synthetic crimes, serving decades or life sentences under a regime of legal fiction.

THE ARCHITECTS: NIXON AND MITCHELL

This scheme was no accident. It was born from the same minds who brought us Watergate:

• President Richard Nixon: Resigned in disgrace under threat of impeachment; the only U.S. president to do so.
• Attorney General John Mitchell: Convicted and imprisoned for his role in the Watergate cover-up. The very man who was entrusted with writing America's criminal code was also the first U.S. Attorney General to serve prison time.
