Morgan Auto Group Expands Footprint with Ocean Honda Acquisition

TAMPA, Fla. - May 21, 2025 - PRLog -- Morgan Automotive Group is proud to announce the acquisition of Ocean Honda, which will now operate under the name Honda of Port Richey. This strategic move marks Morgan's ninth Honda dealership and its 24th store in the Tampa Bay area, underscoring the company's commitment to continued growth and community investment across Florida.

The seller was the Victory Automotive Group based out of Canton, Michigan. "We appreciate Jeff Cappo and the entire Cappo family who has made this a seamless transaction," said Brett. "They have been great to deal with, and we look forward to carrying the Honda torch onward here in Port Richey."

This isn't Morgan Auto's first dealership in the Port Richey market. Back in 2010, Morgan acquired Ford of Port Richey, just their sixth store at the time.

This latest acquisition further solidifies Morgan Automotive Group's position as the largest automotive group in Florida, with over 70 dealerships across the state.
