Hands-on Aquaculture Training in Togo – Successful SES Expert Assignment to IFAD

HAMBURG, Germany - April 20, 2025 - PRLog -- Elevagnon, April 2025 As part of a Senior Expert Service (SES) mission, Johannes Peschke, SES Expert and CEO of the Ingenieurbüro für Qualität und Sicherheit GmbH, travelled to Togo in April 2025. The goal of the assignment was to provide practical support to the teaching staff of the Institut de Formation en Agriculture et Développement (IFAD) in the fields of aquaristics, aquaponics and shrimp aquaculture.

The trainings were conducted at IFAD's facilities in Elevagnon. Together with the local team, intensive sessions were held focusing on modern breeding techniques, sustainable production systems, and applied teaching methodologies. Another key element of the mission was the technical consultation for the hatchery, aimed at strengthening long-term training and production quality.
